Hello everyone and welcome to this new video Hello Philou and the
others, so today we will begin to see how to improvisate on Minor swing there are many things to do let's go! [Music]

    [Music] So to start seeing
improvisation on Minor Swing we need to analysis a little each chords so if you have followed the previous courses you know the chords of Minor swing and the form, so I won't talk about that again.

    the Am6 has four notes
we will study on the guitar to start having

better vision on what to play.. The Am6 has a root
it is A, the third minor is C, the fifth is E,

the sixt F#, and i starts again, A,

third minor C, the fifth E, the sixt F# and we arrive at the second octave A

here then we will work on the 5th fret we will stay here often

    in gypsy jazz
we will advance the left hand but here we will stay here to try

to see a little bit the same place the different positions that
will then use... to work that it's easy 1,2,3,4...

and so it begins again..you need to visualize the points

and recognize which one it is from the
root..the sixt, the fifth, the third, the fifth, the sixt, the root

for Dm6, so we will do the same, we'll start from 5th fret
of A string, the chart shows up,

here I go down to get the sixt of D
to have eight notes for playing it in the bar

    [Music] when you work slowly

try to do always downstrokes with the pick, it is a good
    habit to take [Music]

the E7, so E, then G# third major, B the fifth, D the

seventh and we go to E again, then the third major G#

the fifth B, and we go down
after the fundamental , we go down on the 7th, the fifth and the low third major

    G sharp here [Music]

so here it is for these diagrams on each chords
that will allow us now to do this little exercise to get used with his positions, we will follow each chords of minor swing and play corresponding arpeggios by some adjustments to reach the right

    chord at the right time ... 1 2 3 4

So as you see we followed the Minor
swing form, and on each chord we play the corresponding arpeggio ...

    Improvisation demo

[Music] Here is something quite simple

I wanted to do something accessible to you my Philou and
for others in order to understand a little improvisation , softly So with that you start to recognize a little what to play on each chords, and now try to learn it by heart and especially to know which part corresponds to which chord, and what are the important notes of this chord..

    Conclusion...Improvisation is very demanding,
we make a mixt of many things, arpeggios the scales, chromaticism... I really think also it's good to try to get a lot of vocabulary: learn by heart line that you like and the more you have material, little line you know, part of some scales, chromaticism, the more you can have fun and play with all that; at the beginning it seems a bit of a big mountain insurmountable but progressively, accumulating knowledge you

you will be able to handle it... If you want to download the pdf
